LPG tank farm commissioned

Schwelm Anlagentechnik GmbH was entrusted with the construction of a large aerosol tank farm for Progas GmbH. At the Elsteraue site in Saxony-Anhalt, 13 underground storage tanks as well as 3 railroad and 2 truck stations are being built. In addition to the pipeline construction, the scope of the order also includes electrical installation, system control, fire and lightning protection technology as well as steel construction for an inspection stage. This project is one of the largest in the company's history and shows a revival in one of the company's core areas of expertise. Civil engineering work is currently underway to prepare for underground vessel installation. We will then begin assembly on site in the second quarter of the year. The tank farm will be handed over to our customer ready for operation at the end of this year.
